2012 Helping Hands of Hueco: Climber Clean Up

Time: 8am-1pm clean up
Climbing: 1pm-6pm
Dinner: 6- till we run out of food and drinks.
The CHTC can only get 100 people in the park. This is a first come first serve event. We will pre register tours on Friday night at the Rock Ranch to expedite the
clean up morning. We will also be signing people up the morning of the event at the Hueco Tanks front gate starting at 8:00. If you have any questions please send

Vandelism Alert

It has been discovered that someone has vandelized the rock art at the recently closed Donkey Head area on North Mountain. This is resulting in the closure of the whole area to all traffic.

Clean Up Update

The CHTC works hand in hand with the Hueco Tanks to improve high traffic areas. In the sping of 2009 the CHTC
knew Warm Up Boulder on North Mountain was seeing some serious errosion. Working with the park
we cordinated a Clean Up project which involved laying some pavers and gravel to prevent further loss of top
soil. Today, we are no longer loosing top soil and the plant life has been able to return.
